An Orchids Limited one-piece 10.25" x 13" living wall frame, in which I’ve included one orchid, Laelia dayana, and two Tillandsia species: T. incarnata & T. bergeri.

These unique art projects are a guaranteed eye-catcher in any room of the home. What I particularly love about this piece is the mound upon which L. dayana is proudly displayed upon. Similar to my first piece, this living wall frame offers changing scenes depending on the angle you view it from.

So how did I put this together? Starting with an empty picture frame, I attached a wire mesh to the back in order to give the plants something to hold onto. Next, I tied in specimen plants and decorative branches using wire and fishing line. After that, I stapled corrugated plastic board to the wire mesh from the back. The board acts as an insulating barrier between the damp plant layer and the wall. Last but not least, I glued decorative sheet moss and preserved lichen to fill in the remaining space. And voila, a one-of-one living wall frame!
