Individual specimen- the exact plant in photo is for sale.
This is a large clump of 8-10 plants from our collection of 15+ year old tillandsias.
A large, high-light Tillandsia from Guatemala. The wavy leaves are densely covered in silvery trichomes that give it a velvety appearance, like a lion's mane. The plump, reddish-orange inflorences develop slowly to reveal violet-purple tubular flowers. This species develops over time into large clusters, densely packed.
Tillandsia harrisii is a perfect companion plant to grow alongside Cattleyas and Laelias, or other high-light orchids such as Dendrobiums.
