Regarded as the “King Anthurium”, this beautiful species is one of the largest epiphytic Anthuriums in the world. Named after the 18th-century Scottish horticulturist, John Veitch. This aroid is native to Colombia, where it grows up trees as an epiphyte with cascading foliage that reaches up to 6 feet in length! These plants are the progeny of self-pollinating our tremendous narrow-form specimen! Easy to grow in the household and a beautiful foliage to add to your interior decor. These are all seedlings of our massive mother plant, and are blooming size!
Orchidweb is one of the only sellers in the U.S. that is offering this plant in a mature form!
The current plants are in 7.5 - 8" pots and have the longest leaf averaging at 15 to 20 inches as of August 2024!
*Please note, due to the size and fragile nature of the large foliage, there may be slight damage to some leaves from being moved around at the nursery over time or from shipping transit. A small amount of blemish is to be expected, but if you have any concerns please let us know!
