Description
This species is native to New Guinea growing at 800 meters in elevation. You can stake the growths and grow them upright, or hang the pot at an angle (or mount on a slab) and let them grow pendulous. The plants offered are larger flowering-size plants. Handsome candy-corn colored flowers emerge in groups of 2 to 5 opposite the leaves and can cover the canes. The flowers are very showy, brilliantly colored in orange and yellow and are fairly long-lasting. Grow in medium light and water as the mix approaches dryness. The leaves will often fall on some of the canes and flowering will occur shortly thereafter.
