A compact epiphyte species native to China, with a similar growth habit and flower to Den. moniliforme.

Fun fact: this orchid's canes and other similar Dendrobiums have been used as a medicinal herb in China. We are not certain exactly what it cures, but if it does work it may be less expensive than some modern prescriptions.

The current batch is established seedlings expected to reach blooming size in 2025.
