This cute miniature species is from Yunnan China, and in the wild they grow on the bottom of tree branches so the flowers don't get water in them. This cool growing epiphyte grows at elevations of 1000 to 2000 meters and typically blooms in the fall. Note that the foliage will drop just before and as they are flowering. Once the flower season has finished, new growths will emerge again.
Grow in low light, and in cool to intermediate temperatures.
Photo on the right is a multi-growth plant mounted on a slab, which is another great way to grow these plants!
