Description
This species has several names (thanks to the taxonomists) but whatever you want to call it it is a very fine species that is diminutive in size and has long lasting flowers. The flower spikes can bloom for several months and have a nice fragrance.
A unique species from Bhutan through the eastern Himalayas to Vietnam. Likes it shady and moist. Fragrant long lasting flowers from 1/2 to 1 inch in size. The close up picture shows some variation in flower color. Grown from seed from select parents.
Growers who can supply the necessary ambient humidity may consider purchasing the mounted plants, but for most growers, the plants in 2.25" in pots will be more suitable.
