Description
A very rare color form of the species, which lacks hairs on the stem or ovaries!
Known as the "Shaggy Paphiopedilum", this species is native to regions of Northeast India and Myanmar. In the wild, these orchids are most often found growing semi-epiphytically on or near trees, in media consisting of moss and detritus. This spring-blooming orchid benefits from a cooler, slightly drier winter in order to stimulate spring flowering. During the summer months, active growth should be supplemented with adequate watering and liquid fertilizer.
