Description
A classic hybrid registered in 1898, and perhaps something that has not been re-made since! These have great fragrance smelling of cinnamon and allspice. The flowers are about 5-6 inches wide and accented by a fantastic dark lip. This particular hybrid is easy to grow and it is a vigorous grower that flowers at a compact size. This cross often begins producing buds and sheaths in March or early April, flowering in late April to late May to early June. These often flower again in the fall for us as well! The color of the lip can vary a bit being sometimes more purple or a red to even a salmon shade.
