If you're new to orchids, or even if you're experienced and want to improve your culture, this class is for you! Or maybe you've only grown Phalaenopsis and want to venture further into other species! I will break down the important components of orchid culture to give you a foundation of understanding their needs. This is a great starter class that will help tie into my upcoming classes on specific genera.
Subjects I will cover:
Reading the label - Yes, there is a science to the label!
Water & Fertilizer - How and when to water/fertilize. There's more than one way.
Light - Tips for providing light naturally or artificially, or both.
Maintenance - Recognizing pests and diseases and how to treat them. Repotting.
Q & A - As always, I will have one or two live panelists available to answer questions via chat while I teach the class. I also take Q&A at the end of the session.
