This is a classic must-have diviion from the original plant of Clair de Lune registered in 1927 by The famous Sander's Nursery of England and Belgium. This variety is well known to be one of the absolute strongest growing Paph maudiae type hybrids that exists. It has a strong life force, and can create multiple growth plants that are divisible over time. The flowers are amongst the largest of the Maudiae type and are long lasting. These can flower twice per year. This clone still holds up against any new green and white Maudiae hybrids made in recent times probably due to the large quantities of species that were imported and selected when flowered for breeding.
The foliage is fantastic with deep blue-green checkered markings on a lighter white-green background. This is a plant that is attractive whether it is flowering or not!
