This vigorous, medium sized Maxillaria species grows as an epiphyte in the forests of southern Brazil. This winter bloomer sends out 5" long, single-flowered spikes that produce a 2" wide flower with a sweet fragrance. Flower color can vary slightly from yellow to light orange.
