Seikai is a very coveted and classic variety of Neofinetia. These plants have been passed down for generations by hand division since what is thought to be sometime in the 1600's. This variety is sterile, therefore it cannot be reproduced by seed. Seikai can truly be considered a 'living antique'. It has 'Wankyokuba' (curvy leaves), 'Mambeba' (bean leaves) and a 'Namigata Tsuke', which is the wave pattern where the axis meets the leaves. The flowers are also uniquely-shaped and are pinkish in color, and face upwards. If you are a Neo connoisseur, you've got to have a Seikai!
