This is the beautiful yellow form of this great species from Colombia, Ecuador, Panama and Peru. The flowers are bright yellow and have a wonderful, sweet fragrance. Grow in medium light with intermediate temps, as this plant does not like being in temperatures too much above 85°F. Water as the potting mix approaches dryness and use clean water like rain water, distilled or reverse osmosis water. We have good luck growing in sphagnum moss. As part of the natural progression of Miltoniopsis growth, the leaves on older pseudobulbs turn yellow and eventually drop off.
