This species is widespread across southeast Asia from India to Vietnam to China, Thailand and Burma. In the wild, this orchid exhibits a lithophytic habit, growing on rock outcrops. This species has evolved to be this resilient to a wide temperature range, as well as to drying out between watering. When in bloom, the beautiful white and orange tipped flowers emit a nice sweet fragrance - a relatively rare trait in this genus!
We are offering cuttings off of our mother plant. These will be shipped bare root. They grow best of mounts with some sphagnum moss or sheet moss underneath them. These have also grown well on circular logs or spheres, and they will cover whatever they grow on like a topiary.
They will need attention at first. Good humidity or frequent water/misting until the roots establish. Within 2 to 3 months, they should root into the moss .
